T&C Philippines Does Brunch at Antonio’s

“Brunch is more than just certain dishes served at a specific time of day. It is casual and less constrained dining. More relaxed. Just people enjoying the moment.”

– Chef Antonio ‘Tony Boy’ Escalante

In their September 2013 issue, Town and Country Philippines did a special on brunch.

Contributing editor Alicia Colby Sy writes about a gathering of some of the best chefs in the country, chefs who have devoted their gastronomical efforts toward this popular fourth meal of the day.

Entitled “Wake Up Call,” a “powerhouse of culinary talent” meet up at The Cabana, Antonio’s private event pavilion, to cook, eat, and talk shop—that is, travel and food. With the likes of Colin Macky of Sala, Tippi Tambuting of Masseto, Marivic Diaz-Lim of Apartment 1B, Ana Lorenzana de Ocampo of WildFlour Cafe+Bakery, Stephanie Zubiri of Atelier 317, Ian Padilla of Brasserie Girolle, and our own Antonio Escalante, this was a brunch like no other.

Thank you to the editors of Town and Country Philippines. A special thank you to Ms. Alicia Colby Sy.
